Dry Needling
Dry needling is used to release muscle tension & stimulate healing.
Dry needling uses acupuncture needles to stimulate homeostatic points for pain relief. It is also a fantastic way to release muscular tension throughout the body by inserting the acupuncture needle into tight muscles that may contain trigger points. Trigger points are tight tender knots of muscle that can cause pain, weakness and musculoskeletal imbalances. These benefits make it ideal to treat a wide range of structural dysfunctions and joint pain.

Dry Needling
I use dry needling as part of a broader physical therapy approach incorporating it into the other treatments I offer such as manipulative therapy and remedial massage. The needles are very thin so it is generally not painful. Sometimes the muscle will twitch, if it is tight, when you apply the needle. So, you may feel a little muscle ache or soreness for a day after the treatment, which feels like your muscles have been worked on but this will loosen out and you should find an increase in your range of movement afterwards.
